Those in attendence: Angie Lebel, Mike Faiella (acting chairperson) Rachel Hopkins, Mike Benik, Rob Drye, George D'Orazio, Robert Horan and Dennis Wyman.
Discussion notes:
The minutes of the Feb 3, 1998 meeting are approved as shown in Rev 1 attached.
Department of Education report:
Some districts are asking what to do when they receive an incomplete evaluation. The rules discuss what is to be included in an evaluation.
Dual enrollment has come up again.
Hand out draft of a list of sources of information pertinent to home schoolers for review and discussion at next meeting.
Hand out draft of a letter to answer a request for information abouit home education from homeschoolers for review and discussion at the next meeting.
It was requested the HEAC members e-mail address list be updated.
The process of collecting HEAC minutes to be put on the Internet has begun.
Elaine had a discussion with Karen after the PSAC meeting - Karen will be asked to comment at our next meeting.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday, April 7, 1998 in Room 15 of the Department of Education at 3:30 PM unless otherwise notified.
