Dear Commissioner Twomey:
Enclosed are minutes from the council's meetings from May of 1994 through January of 1995. I hope that they will give you an indication of the kinds of issues the council addresses. If you have any comments regarding these issues or other suggestions or concerns you would like us to address, please let us know. I have also enclosed a list of our projected meeting dates through June 1995 and would welcome your participation at any time should you be available.
Since its inception, the council has addressed many issues regarding immunization, special education, interscholastic sports, and DCYF as their policies affect homeschoolers, and individual homeschooling situations. Currently, we are working on analyzing local school district policies regarding participation in activities, school facilities, and sports by homeschoolers.
If you have any questions about the material enclosed or any other matter, please let me know.
